Erwinna Covered Bridge is located on Geigel Hill Road, NW of Erwinna in Tinicum Twp. The National Register lists the construction date as 1871, the county records suggest it was actually build in 1832. Utilizing the Town Truss, it crosses the Lodi (Swamp Creek). Only 56 ft. long and 15 ft. wide, Erinna is the shortest bridge in the county. It is painted the trditional red with a shite entry portals.
This is where we got so lost that we had to stop at the Tinicum Twp. Police for directions!

Sue, you are sharing a lot of treasured bridges but you seem to find something else of interest at each location making the tour even more enjoyable!
Some are quite near, Tom, most are not! I just asked Al how many miles we traveled and he thinks it's between 70 and 100. We did check the mileage but we both forget! :(
