Here is an assortment of much prettier faces than the Wood Storks. All were taken from a boat with D7100 and Tamron 150-600 hand held.

Very appealing series, Carol. Definitely some beautiful faces there :) I have to say, I don't recall ever seeing an airborne turtle - how delightful!

Thank you Linda. The turtles seem to take off at the sound of voices. They don't seem to be bothered if the boat drifts slowly past but the minute they hear a voice off they go!
