Blacksmith Shop...........
Just a few pictures testing a vintage Sigma 35-70 F2.8 Zoom Lens. Best that I can tell, this lens was probably manufactured in the early 1980's. This vintage lens was mounted to my Sony NEX-6 camera and taken using Manual Mode. I did very little photo editing, and did not sharpen these pictures.
The Blacksmith Shop pictures were taken in Bracken, Texas. In addition to doing blacksmith work, this shop also makes custom signs.
The picture of the mural painted on the side of the Mexican Café is common down here in South Texas. This Mexican Café is located in San Antonio, Texas.
I am pleased with this lens and consider it to be a keeper. I love using old, vintage lenses. Tejaswrangler :)
Nice captures. The paint job on the cafe look very dimensional. Colorful and cute.

Good morning Cwilson, thanks for viewing the pictures. Yes, I think that the painted mural looks somewhat dimensional too. I have always enjoyed seeing painted murals on the side of buildings. Please have a great, enjoyable day. Tejaswrangler :)

Very nice series. It's interesting to see the results you're getting with that lens. The case can be made that newer isn't necessarily better.

Hello Vicksart, I agree, some old, vintage lenses will produce some great pictures, as good as some of the modern made lenses. Thanks for viewing the pictures. Please have a great day! Tejaswrangler :)
