I am the proud owner of a Canon T4i. Know very little about what produces good shots and want to learn. Going to shoot mostly outdoors, wildlife, waterfalls. Can see the difference between my photos and one shot by a pro, but don't know what went into the pro shot. John Greengo has a set of videos for beginners. Is this a good way to start? Suggestions please.
Learn all about the exposure triangle, then learn composition, then learn when to break the rules. You can Google "photography Exposure triangle". Then move on to composition, or read any of the books people are recommending, but this is where you start.
