#1 Canon SX50. The rest with Canon T3i, Canon EF 70-300 mm lens. Thanks for viewing!
Photographed on Oct 12, a bit late in the year to see ospreys around here.

2. Mt Adams appearing to float above the foggy valley floor. Because of its height, Mt Adams will often be bathed in warm light at sunrise, while the valley is still dark. But, as with fleeting sunrise color in the sky, you have to shoot quickly :)

3. The moon yesterday morning at dawn - with Venus (?)

4. A small apple orchard that went unpicked this year. Nik infrared effect + real fog.

Nice osprey shot - and that moon shot is beautiful. From the look of his feathers, the osprey is a youngster.
Thanks for posting!

Thanks so much for your visit, Erv. I'm very pleased you enjoyed!
The picture of Mt. Adams is great. No place like the Pacific Northwest.

love that 2nd shot Linda. I saw an Osprey here yesterday. i couldn't believe one was still around. we are going to have a low in the 30's overnight so i think he'll start his migration very soon. gary

Thanks so much, Gary! I'm very fortunate to have great views of Mt Adams from several locations around town and the valley.
Interesting to hear that your ospreys are running late too!
Super series, Linda! Hard to pick a favorite from this group. Mt Adams is a beauty, the moon is terrific (had to hit the download to find Venus, lol) and the orchard is also a 'cracker' as our English friends would say.
Excellent work, and very enjoyable.
