Even with my newly discovered cataracts, I can see the wonderful detail of these shots. #3 just blows my mind. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comments Flyerace. I, too, have the beginning stages of cataracts but have decided to postpone their removal until sometime next summer. I'm really curious what it will do to my PP work. I may have been posting oversaturated, garish colors for many months now, only because my eyesight is too dim.

Bob, I'm glad you reposted these three together. While very different, each is a treasure to be shared!

Thank you Carol. I've heard people develop a certain style, and I'm beginning to wonder if that's true with me as well. I bounce around a lot.

Bob, I have had cataract surgery and am grateful for it. Colors are more vibrant. When you have the first one done, you will see what I mean!! Nice #3 photo.

I had both eyes done at separate times, when the ophthalmologist said eye was ready. No problems. I just noticed an overall eye sight improvement. I like your colors.

Thank you PainterSue. I can't say I'm really looking forward to the surgery, but I'm not exactly dreading it either. Do you happen to know, it is a one-time-event, or something you might have do over again, say 10 years down the road?

Thanks Tpharm. I'm waiting until the eye doctor says it's time.

Thanks Jim. The only reason I moved them out here is that the folks who don't subscribe to the forum might not see them. I've also noticed that images placed in the FYC forum never get included in the Daily Digest, so it's a double whammy.

You're absolutely right and I have to remind myself to look at the FYC as it doesn't appear in the digest I sometimes forget for days on end. :-D

Thanks Sirius. Yep, that color combination gets me every time ...... that's why I comb the countryside looking for the Mimosa to bloom in Spring. They remind of the feathers on a Grey Crowned Crane.
