The above article says the the DOE has told the Palatine School System that they must allow a boy who says he is a girl take showers with the Girls...

Now if possible, without the usual horse manure that goes on in here can we sort of have a common place discussion on the subject...

I no longer have any Children in Public High School, so the subject only affects me via 2 Grand Daughters... BUT these questions are to men or women who have Junior High or Senior High school Students attending a public school..

1) Are you in favor of or against this ruling..?

2) IF you are in favor, please explain why.

3) If you have a Child in the 6th Grade (That is where our Jr High starts)
he/she would be approximately 11 years old... Would you feel ok with an 11 year old Girl showering or going to bathroom with an 18yr old Boy ?

4) Do you believe that the way things are going today, that conceivably any age person can just simply CLAIM that they are not the sex that they were born as... And if that is all that is needed that there will be many problems involved with that.

(5) Do you feel that (especially on the Boys side) that a teen age boy, that has declared he is a girl... WILL NOT HAVE FEELINGS FOR THE NAKED GIRLS HE MIGHT SEE.....or will HE have basically have the same sexual feelings that he would have if he had NOT declared he was a girl?

Before you get your panties in a wad, this has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity... but with a Law that should not have been passed.

Remembering when I was in Jr and Sr High school, I think co-ed showers are a GRAND idea. However, as a parent and grandparent of high school kids, it is the looniest idea I've heard. I can imagine it coming out of Berkley, but not Texas. But we have been seeing some really strange stuff come out of Texas lately. Isn't Palatine Texas where the "clock boy was from?
