Need help with D7200

Just upgraded from my D7000, to a new D7200, but I can not activate the Histogram. With the 7000, all l needed to do was hit the up or down on the on the multi selector when viewing a photo, on my new 7200 nothing happens? The manual on page 237 reads the same as the manual for the 7000 on page 166 of it's manual. Do I have a defective 7200? Greatly appreciate any help.

Go into the "playback menu", and click on Playback display options, scroll down to additional photo info and click on RGB histogram. I also while there checked Highlights.
Hope this helps someone, I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out.

There is a way because I recently purchased the D7200. Go to your menu: Playback Menu, Playback display options, Under Additional Photo Info check or select the Highlights, RGB Histogram and Shooting Data. Hope this helps.

Buy Darrell Young's or David Busch's books on the camera. They both do great job of making all these things clear. I bought my D7100 Darrell Young on Kindle so I can carry it with me. Not nearly as easy to find things, but it has helped.
