In the past I have had a few different P&S cameras, but I have never had more pleasure and enjoyment than the past 2 years since I got my Nikon D 3200. Also, one of the best lessons I have learned from UHH was in the "links" section regarding "Don't forget the flash." I have many pictures now that were greatly improved by using my SB 300 flash. Yes, I know this is supposed to be non photography talk. So, bend the rules a little so all of you can pat yourselves on the back.
AZ, this a talk about anything section, you have done nothing wrong.

Welcome to the Hog AZ. Glad to see you are enjoying your Nikon. I'm from the other Peoria(IL) and my sister lives in Chandler, near you. You have a lot of amazing things to photograph out there. One of the things I found interesting was the way they camouflage the cell towers to make them look like huge palm trees.

I find it humourous to see those towers. They sort of stick out like a sore thumb. However, they are a bit less, just less, than the naked ones.

Off topic, but relevant to the palm tree cell towers is the the fact that where I live we have no cell service because the environmentally oriented residents object even to simulated trees. And when the cell companies offered a relatively invisible tree for our pine forest, they decided the small sheds for the equipment were unacceptable in the forest as well. Life in the green world is pleasant but inconvenient.

Those folks must love the wind farms.
