I love old Jeeps but the rocker panels on this one looked like you could poke your finger through them!

Looks well used. I'll bet there are a lot of memories associated with that vehicle.

Aj3, I think that is a great photo, really like the old motel with window ac in the background, and the dark clouds. Thanks for sharing only thing missing is an old dine, with neon lights.

That's COMMANDO, Commander is a newer, much less capable vehicle.
I love those old Commandos, I bought three junkers cheap in 1989 and spent a year building one really nice unit for my sons very first vehicle. It was indestructible with its Buick V6 and Turbo 400 tranny driving those Dana 44 axles. It lasted him all the way through college.
Yours looks to be a 1970 model.

Almost seems out of place.... Look like they might be worth more than the jeep.....

I stand corrected! :) Those odd fire Buick V6's always were kind of a strange duck... Durable and plenty of power though.... I'll stick with the straight six with seven main bearings..... Now that's bullet proof! Of course I'd trade my Wrangler for a CJ-8 any day of the week....

I always loved my Scrambler better than the Command's also, wish they still made them. I drive a 2014 Wrangler Unlimited now. Its my "Rough Country" wheeled camera case.

Mine is an older TJ.... Used to be my daily driver. I'm doing a little work to it but plan on keeping it legal.....
