New product for those filter ringless ultrawide lenses (Nikon 14-24, et al)

Just saw this filter adapter on B&H, would it help you folks with the ultrawide lenses that don't have a filter ring? Looks to be quite a bit cheaper than some of the other alternative adapters mentioned before....

It will still not mount on lenses such as the Nikon 14-24mm F2.8, or Tamrons 15-30mm F2.8 VC as it still needs filter threads to mount it (up to 82mm). Those lenses have no accessible threads. If you read the description closely it limits application to 16mm lenses specifically. Sorry, but its simply a less expensive alternative for 100mm filters than the options from Lee.

Bummer, I read too much into the B&H news release then missed the part about 16mm full frame on the product page. Oh well, at least the B&H page lists the $200 alternatives at the bottom....

I know, its an issue when needing an ND filter for these lenses. Here is how a guy in Europe solved his need:
