Do you have something like this near you!?
I think this retro-McDonald's is TOO cool!
This one is in Ocean City Maryland and I nearly missed it looking for historical buildings on a recent photo trip there!
Naturally, I had to get many shots and play with some of them for effect, too.

Feel Free to add retro-styled iconic businesses/landmarks to the thread if you have them, too!
Wow! That's very cool!
Nothing similar near us, I have not seen one like that in at least 25 years.
Sure brings back memories too. There was more then one time when I was in HS that I told my parents I was going to McD and instead loaded all my friends in the car and we headed down to the Jersey shore.

YOU!?
A
bad boy?? ;)
Glad you enjoyed it!
I've never seen anything like it before and was really tickled. It would be cool to see more like it popping up now!
(Do you remember what that little guy's name is on the sign? For some reason, I keep going to: "Bob's BigBoy" ... but thinkin' that's an entirely different resturant!??)
That is such a 'memories' photo. Thanks for posting them!!

Heh heh I'm sure I caused my parents more then one sleepless night. Shocking to hear that I know! :-o :D
I think the original little guy's name was Speedee. :-)

OoOoOoO!
I think you might be right! Thanks! *beams*
(now I'm wondering if YOUR kids gave YOU as much trouble as you dished out to your parents? *smiles softly * that's what they say, yanno?
*said in a high-pitched, crazed-sounding voice*: "Just wait 'till YOU have kids someday!")
I can remember one in San Jose, Californir back in the mid sixties that did not have a dining room. There was only walk up service. Course the double cheeseburger, a diet staple back then, was only $0.29.
We have a retro just down the street from my work. Very cool!
Just don't try and do that with a Burger King! I stopped to photo a cool rock in the flower bed at one and got an employee out telling me it's against the law to photo anything (even a rock) on Burger King property. Can only imagine if I had tried to photo the building...
I can remember when the golden arches sign said "over 100,000 sold". Guess that ages me. I believe there is one similar to this in Reno,Nv. Interesting shots of a subject we all know.
Nice sharp shots.Went to our local Mcdonalds yesterday with the wife and two of our grandaughters. They love it and got two balloons as well.
Did ya ever see the McD in Sedona? Only one in the country with GREEN arches!! Zoning issue there & they had to comply!!
We had a similar one in Hemet. Don't think it had the old signage, though. They recently rebuilt it.
I've been on a gluten-free diet for months now so I rarely notice fastfood places. I'll make a point of really looking at it on my way home tonight.
Wow, I love it! The food too! Bu,t my diet is suffering for it.
What cam did you use? I am hoping ot make a photo safari up the Eastern Seoboard later in the Fall, so may get to visit this one.
Take care,
Steve
