Very Nice Linda! Is the Star in #2 Natural or did you use a filter? I think I like #1 the best though.

Thanks for your visit and comments, CC (love your user name pun :) ).

That is a natural effect. You can usually get a sun star when shooting through smaller elements (the leaves in this case). In #1 the sun wasn't obscured enough to produce the effect.

Thanks so much, Don! I arrived just as the fog was disappearing from that spot. But "hurry up" is often my default shooting mode :)
