I just uploaded Adobe Elements 14 and Elements Premium. First thing I noticed is that all help questions go online using Internet Explorer. Anybody know how to make Google Chrome the default browser for this setup? Appreciate any help I can get.

 That's a downer! I'm using Mozilla Firefox myself and like it, and I've been avoiding Internet Explorer for years, since what ever is was we had before Vista, Win 95 maybe?

I've just started to think about upgrading from PSE 19 to 14, primarily because I like what I read about the "content aware" feature. I don't think 13 has the content aware, but does it also restrict you to IE?

If Firefox is your default browser, and you are using PSE 9, what happens when you press the help button? does Help open in Firefox or IE?

I use Safari as default browser and pressing Help in PSE 14 off the toolbar opens a new web window quite happily - was the same with PSE 11 as well if that helps.

That's a good question haven't looked, but I know every time I try to respond to some vendor via their e-mail connection using IE, I get some message about not being able to send it because I don't have an account so I just copy their e-mail address and paste it into my gmail message.

Don't know. I have PSE 12, like how content aware worked, but didn't use IE, or any internet assist.

If you bookmark the URL on your internet page you should be able to disable IE and enable your preference - May be outside from pse in control panel initially and then a change to 'default' in PSE. never tried it with this programme but I usually kill IE when and where I can . I use Maxthon cloud browser.

have fun

I've found I can do that also by opening Help as you say. Thank you. djt

Yes...fun. I made sure that my default browser is Chrome. Next I might delete IE, if I can/have to. Not a big fan of it either.
