How the Pros. do it.

This is for Hershel . Here is a glimpse of people watching on the left coast. This is a scene I visit as often as I can. I think what attracts me is the very civil behavior of all parties involved. San Francisco’s Crissy field is visited daily by numerous “professional” dog walkers. I am always impressed by the good behavior I see. The handlers act responsibly and the dogs are amiable. There may be exceptions but I have found it to be a pleasant and rewarding visit.

Interesting!
What time of the day are these taken?

#4 must be the "duty" station?
It is interesting to see the dogs not wanting to clamer onto the other dogs in the third (as they wait patently) and last photo.

Is there a limit of dogs for one handler at a time?

Phil,

Great photos. Just the way I like 'em, especially the first one. Colorful, sharp, composition and lots going on, beach, people, dogs, ocean, boats, etc.. plenty to keep the eye busy. Let's not forget the little balloon on the lady's shoulder :).

Thank you for the kind mention.

Hi SqBear, thanks for the visit and comments. These were taken in the late Am. Yes, it is the patient behavior of the dogs that appeals to me. Not sure re. official limit of number of dogs per person. Six seemed to be max and most come by car.

Hi Hershel, thank you for the visit and kind words. I do enjoy your posts, there is a sincerity to your work that appeals to me. I miss my visits to your city. The balloon on the lady's shoulder is a ball throwing device. I appreciate your comments.

Hello JD, I won't say you shouldn't watch where you step... but dog walkers take that part of the job very seriously.
Thanks for the comment.
