Yup, been there, done that. Didn't get the tee shirt. The retirement benefits that had accrued were held ransom on the condition that the help was provided.

Watched it happen at my place of work, Indians brought in and trained by employees in the data processing field, then shipped back to India. Then a few weeks later the Pink slips began flying.

Just some more trickle down economics, but it a lot less trickling down and it is trickling down in India.

I've worked with companies who needed hands and eyes on site with Indian consultants running the show. What a circus. Regardless of the mess that creates, the bean counters are happy with the payroll bottom line.

My Wife worked for them for 32 years before she retired 7 years ago. I'm glad she's through with that place!
