B&H to the rescue

Just wanted to thank everyone for their input and help when I posted about needing service for my D7100. I'm sending the D7100 back to Nikon for service tomorrow after a panic about not having a warranty form.

I was in a quandry because the forms indicated that I had to send the warranty in with a copy of the invoice but I couldn't find any warranty in the original boxes I still have. I had the warranty papers for the lens that came with it but not for the camera. It was recommended to me by private message to contact Hershel of B&H here on the site for help which I did. He referred me to Henry Posner, B&H's Director of Communications who sent me links from Nikon which indicated that Nikon does not provide warranty forms for DSLRs and that all you have to do is produce your proof of purchase.

So I'm feeling much relieved and just wanted to give a shout out to B&H and esp Hershel and Henry for the quick and helpful assistance in this matter. My s/o and I have made quite a few purchases from B&H with no problems and great service and we're happy and grateful that that record continues.

Donna, it's great to read that everything worked out well. You can count on B and H.

As a customer of B&H for years they are truly the utopia of all camera dealers.

B&H saved me when my Nikon N4004 and a couple of lenses were stolen along with a banana from a backpack on a train in The Czech Republic (hungry thief). B&H provided by e-mail copies of the original purchase invoices even though they were a couple of years old.My insurance company was satisfied and paid off on the loss.
