These images were taken a few years ago on a beautiful Sabbath (Saturday) afternoon. Took my boys for a drive to one of my favorite little haunts...

Beautiful reflections. See some beautiful fishing spots. Am sure that you like # 5 and 6. They should be getting a whole lot bigger. Mahalo for sharing.

Thanks Don! Little Crater Lake is just east of Timothy Lake. On highway 26 over Government Camp you would drive another, approximately 20 miles or so, and turn right off of hwy 26. There are signs to Timothy Lake. Little Crater Lake's turn off would be about 2 miles or so off the road to Timothy Lake. Coming in from the east off highway 26, the turn to Little Crater Lake would be a right-hand turn. I normally take the Clackamas River highway/road and drive around Timothy Lake to get there (coming in from the west, up through Estacada on highway 224.

Thank you JoAnne! Mahalo back to you there in paradise! And yes, they seem to be in a hurry to catch up to me, size wise anyway. ;-)

Thanks for looking and commenting. Actually there are no fish in this little jewel of water. It's about 75+ feet deep and the water is only about 37-38 degrees fahrenheit...it's fed by an underground spring. A lot of beautiful meadows in this area and this is out in the "middle" of one. The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is only about another 200 yards from this little spot.
