I think the idea is good but the execution needs some work. I think it needs to be lightened up a little to bring out some detail in the berries in the foreground. The distortion is also a distraction for me. I like the shallow depth of field. I just think bottle needs to be straightened.
I love the perspective and the richly colored light coming through the glass and bottle. I don't care for the position of the grapes as they obscure what, for me, is the most interesting and strong part of the image. Perhaps having them just along the bottom of the frame? I can't identify the largest foreground element - walnut?

Thank you for good points! Dark? I like it, but I suspect you are correct. Light was gone when I realized my biggest mistake, the oof walnut, but I did want small dof to emphasize the small bubbles on the berries. The bottle and glass were level with each other, that distortion was my close up lens and the pov, plus beer always seems to make things go crooked!! LOL

Thank you Linda. The berries or grapes were but an act of desperation. The ones in the beer worked, I think, the ones in the middle were a mistake and hurt the image in my mind. And the walnut should have been placed to be in focus, I think I had too many things going on with the narrow dof.
I think the perspective of the bottle and glass is what sort of kills what otherwise would be an interesting image. Can't you correct this in post? I think the image is worth trying to do that. Yes, the lighting is dark, but it's also intriguing. You've already mentioned the OOF walnut. I'm wondering about that. The purpose of the image was beer. If the walnut were in perfect focus, would it steal the show? Just a thought.

hi AzPicLady,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am thinking (now)that the glass sides need to be "square" to the frame. And perhaps the bottle should be closer and perhaps even partly behind the glass.
And I think the sun backlighting it and the low shot with the narrow DOF were good ideas (to emphasize the small bubbles), but the junk cluttered in and around had mixed results and called for better planning on my part.
Net summary from me, good possibilities - but fell short considering the potential that was there. I liked the rich color and light, but object placement suffered.
I learned a lot from the critiques. Thank you everyone.
