When I went to buy now, upper right corner, it came up with "Nik Collection $149.00

Before Google got into the act the complete collects was a lot more than $149. So I didn't think the current price is all that bad. If there is a free trial version one can decide whether the price is reasonable. That may depend on which module one want/needs/likes the most. In my opinion the B&W conversion and HDR module are the stars while the rest is ho hum but the OPs friend could decide the opposite.

Ahhh, thank you all very much! Now I understand why I couldn't see the price(s). There is no more webinar discounts either, so I guess she will have to pay the full price. But the complete suite is the best way to buy. I love it all. I always appreciate the help this forum offers and thanks for not bashing me. lol I read this forum all the time but don't often have questions. Many times my questions are already addressed here. You guys are fabulous!

There are some tutorials (I think !) buried somewhere in Google+. I only stumble on them when I'm not looking for them.

KC - The very fact that Google WON'T sell anything BUT the complete $149 collection has kept me from buying it. NIK formerly sold its individual tools, but that policy changed when Google took over. There are other options available, including the On1 Photo 10 suite expected to be released around the end of October. /Ralph

Rjay, the entire collection at 149 is much cheaper than the sum of the individual components used to be. And you get them all which seems to be a pretty good deal.

Also if you owned it prior to the Google assimilation, the translation to the Borg's software was free for a limited time.

Yes, I did see these things, but the complete collection does not seem to be available. It seems that you have to buy each one individually. And they don't make it easy to even see the prices. NIK used to be very friendly, but it seems that Google is really making a mess.

I love the Nik filters too. I checked the link provided by another poster and looked like the suite was still available. I clicked on the "Buy Now" button from the above link and it defaulted to the purchase of the whole suite for $149.99. Good luck with it! :D
