This was taken on Santorini (Greek Island) recently. Sunsets here are superb, particularly at Oia where we were staying, and people queue up in the narrow streets for hours waiting for the sun to sink below the horizon.

Thanks 2Dragons for all those thumbs. That sailing ship went passed every afternoon with tourists so it was lucky we were here for a week because I had trouble positioning it in the reflection. It was an old style (as you can see) but there were lots of smaller newer craft which distracted from the mood so I had to wait until they were out of view. :thumbup:

I was very lucky here Snappy and this was about shot number 250 on day four from the patio of where we were staying! The light was just right, the boat, and then up popped the gull. It was very hot and hazy and for a short time a sort of sea mist appeared.
