I hit the mother lode today during my walk on Folly Beach. Saw dolphins strand feeding several times and caught it on video twice. Also saw a red-tailed hawk and an osprey with his catch on the same walk.

WOW. These are sharp and so interesting. I'm jealous. The only luck I have at spotting and shooting animals is at a zoo. But, I keep trying.

Thanks Diane. I was fortunate today. Used my Canon SX50 and the birds I photographed were in no hurry to move so I was able to take many shots and anchored myself so as not to shake causing blur in my photos.

Thanks Greg, it was quite a day. Went out not knowing what I'd find and then saw the red-tailed hawk, osprey with his catch, some sandpipers and several episodes of dolphins strand feeding, where they corral fish near the shore then rush up and almost beach themselves while enjoying a fish feast. I have two video clips of those experiences; I was only feet away watching, it was awesome.
