Do any Hoggers here know if I would have a problem due to the flooding? I am unfamiliar with local roads for detours and could really use some info on the current situation. I know from the news that Columbia is having problems, but I am hoping that the interstates are raised high enough to not be effected by the flooding. I'd appreciate if any of you live near and have knowledge of these areas, would you please let me know.

You could search for a SC-DOT web site that would give road conditions in the state.
I know some states have this feature.

We went to NC 16 years ago after two hurricanes (Dennis and Floyd) hit the same area within a couple weeks of each other. Detours really slowed down travel to a crawl around some flooded towns and the smell was horrible (decaying crops and probably dead animals). Good luck in your travels.
