Which do you prefer...Sunrise or Sunset

I will admit it is amazing to watch the sun sink into the ocean...or like we get to see on the east coast, sink into the bay. But there is something enchanting about waking with the day...I love it. 100 feet from my front door.

I like them both. Sometimes I try to capture a senset on the way to work and sometimes I like to shoot the sunrise in the afternoon. I think it just depends on the mood for the day.

Sunset is my preference.... Yes I like to sleep in....

Your shot is beautiful, Nan! How wonderful to wake to that view every day.

I've always been a morning person, so this is shortly after sunrise one smoky morning this summer.

well...it isn't like THAT everyday.
But I do have the Delaware River just steps away, and I like it best when it is behaving and staying in its bed, where it belongs.

No, it wouldn't be special if you saw that every single day - LOL

Thanks re my shot. The effect, including framing, is part of Nik Color Efex's "Polaroid transfer" filter, with my own adjustments :)
