I was shooting on the flats of Chokoloskee Island, when I saw my buddy fly by. As I was driving off the island I saw him waiting for me, perched on a tree on the causeway. I was lucky the sky was bright, lots of sun, and he was happy to pose, I tried a few settings, as follows. Please try the download.
Canon T2i, canon 400mm 5.6 L Lens. M mode, f/7.1, 1/1,000, f/5.6, 1/1,250, and f/13. 1/500, all ISO200, spot metering

No.2 is my favourite. I like the pose on this shot.
Also there is more detail in the feathers on his back.
In the other two shots, the feathers seem darker.
