Moments of Clarity, Tamron 150-600mm Saves the Night

I never had any clear skies but moments when the clouds lightened up a bit.
Just enough make out the moon. Our visual of the Moon was nowhere as clear as the Photos.
And they came out a little bit better after teasing out some of the highlights in Lightroom and Topaz Detail3.
All shot with the Nikon D800E and the Tamron 150-600mm mounted on my Celestron AVX Mount.
#1-2 500mm, f/6.3, ISO 100, 20 sec.
#3 600mm, f/6.3, ISO 800, 1/80 sec.
I had to shoot #3 at a high ISO to get through the clouds.

Gotta love these tamrons. I have been as happy with mine as you with yours.
Excellent shots Craig. Now that is truly lemonade from lemons.
Outstanding.

Thank you very much Jim. I was totally amazed at what that Lens would pull out of nothing.
Here is what it looked like to the naked eye.
Look hard it's in there.

Thank you very much Sonny. It was a lot of fun hanging around with the gang and watching the Laptop turn out shoots we couldn't see in person.

Great job on the PP, if you had not said anything one would have never known.

Well done man,
Matthew

I'm glad that you stuck with it despite the clouds! Your determination was repaid with great results

Thank you very much Steve. It surprised everyone at the Star Party what actually came out on screen.
