I like the first one a lot. One suggestion though, use the barn roof line as a horizon line and straighten it. Your photo will look a lot better that way.

Thank you for the advice and it is a very good point. Living in the country with the darkness I couldn't move about. To many critters out there. Thanks again for your help.

Wonderful...I like your first attempts. Shooting the moon can be difficult. Many of these are overexposed, so let me suggest you do something to bring out the details. Such as closing down the shutter opening, or increasing your shutter speed, changing your ISO to a lower setting. A combination of of these can yield a nice image. Try going out over the next few day and experiment with settings. The hardest shot is always of a full moon. When it goes to other phases, the craters will be more apparent. Anyway, congratulations on your first attempts. Winners in my opinion and a base to begin your experience from.
