Over the years I have shot mainly color photos. But every once in a while I will gravitate back to black and white. Its amazing how much I still like the impact of a black and white photograph. Maybe its time to get back to the good old days of yesteryear and shoot more black and white.
B&W was my first love, and will always be :)
Very nicely captured and processed shot!

Sometime like in your picture it goes well together. There is an old bike at a old fence. However, taking pictures of colorful flower for example, and turning them into black and white pictures would be in most cases wrong. I appreciate seeing colors and I am grateful for not being colorblind.
It was my first love too. Thanks for looking.

I love B&W and this is a good one!!
Great work. I too love black and white. That photo would not work in color in the same way or as effectively.

shooting b+_w brings back memories of my shooting Ferris bulldog football and hockey games together. He was the head photographer for ferris at the time. Everything was film. B=w for the newspapers color slides for publications. For human portraits I prefer black and white, especially on aa weathered face. As for shooting flowers depending on the background and the design of the flower it can look great monochrome
Black and white suits this subject. I really like it. Shooting color and converting to B/W works best for me. Better tone and depth.

This is a perfect subject for black and white...the bike reminds me I need
To get back on mine and take a ride! Very nice shot jack.
Nice!!! Perfect choice, too. Color would not add a thing to this.
