#1 Milky Way shot, Nikon 800E w/Tokina 16-28mm @ 16mm, ISO 640 f/2.8, 45 sec.
You can see the Double Cluster, Andromeda Galaxy and other bodies I'm not sure of. Some others may be able to help out.
#2 The Cluster at the center of the Lagoon Nebula, Canon T2i conversion to H-alpha 656nm, Meade 8" scope 2000mm, f/9.5, ISO 1600, 34 sec.
#3 The Trifid Nebula, Canon T2i, Meade 8" scope, 2000mm f/9.5, ISO 400, 120 sec.
I need to use my f/6.3 Focal Reducer so I can get more light in quicker. Plus a CCD G3 Camera might be in the works.
The T2i Camera is really sensitive to Noise.
I don't know why these turned out so bad I have other shots that are much better, any help is welcome.
Craig

That is weird Sonny are you going to post some???
You must have gone to a place also to get clear sightings to the South???
I had a hell of a time getting good shots. Don't know what I did wrong.
Other than the Moon was out bright and clear.

Very nice shots these are a couple of DSOs that are still waiting to be captured off of my list.

Nice Trifid nebula. I haven't heard of this one.
Are you going down the catalog?
That chunk of Milky Way is one of my favorites it has so much going on you have to get a good shot when you point it's way.
Well done Craig.

Well done Craig.

Thank you very much Jim. I've had some really good shots of the 3 before.
The moon upset the Trifid and Lagoon with a lot of light pollution.
I was shooting a region of Scorpio and Sag.
Here's two better ones of Lagoon and Trifid from 6-21-15.

What I got of the Trifid Nebula.

With my filters, I shot through the moon.

Really nice Sonny , you used your 720nm filter it came out pretty good.
And yes the moon got us both.

Sonny I touched it up a little by adjusting the Blacks Level down in Lightroom.

More better, Craig. Thanks!
I don't have Lightroom, so I'm stumbling along with what I do have...

Adobe Elements 12, two Orion camera programs that were downloads for my G3 and my Eyepiece cameras.
And then a bunch of downloads, Nikon View NX2, and some other stuff I dabble with but can't seem to get a grasp on. Like stacking programs... :? :?:  :hunf:

After I dabble with the fits files (Orion cameras), then I will sometimes play with the pictures in Adobe. If I like them, I save them and if they are worth looking at I'll post them.

Is Lightroom 6 worth $150?

(Probably a stupid question, but that's OK, I'm not afraid to ask stupid questions.)
