Yes, they did. I hope he'll grow up to be a very smart man. President Obama invited him to the WH. Zuck invited him to visit the FB offices.

So he found time in his busy golf schedule to invite him to the White House. I guess Obama is just trying to re-inforce his solidarity with Islam. Meanwhile, he still hasn't spoken a word about any one of the 24 police officers murdered this year.
It wasn't a "hoax bomb." That would imply that he intentionally made something to look like a bomb. The boy is interested in robotics, and made a homemade clock which others thought looked like it could be a bomb.
The clock should have been looked into. To many it looked like a bomb. After it was found out it was a clock the kid should have had it explained to him that some thought there was a danger and let it go at that. Mistakes are made. But it was wrong to suspend him from school for three days. I think it was great that he wanted to show his science teacher his work. It was an English teacher that got scared. Looks like he is a good kid to me. - Dave
Whatever happened to "See something, say something?" Or is that only for white grade-schoolers who bit their poptarts into a gun shape?
A case of over reaction by some timid souls. It happens a lot in schools with teachers who have no experience of anything but middle/upper class suburbs, university campus etc.
Once had a teacher telling everyone how terrified he had been while driving and his car got surrounded by a "bike gang" on the freeway.
After questions to find out what they looked like and what they did the picture that came out was of a group of doctors, lawyers etc. on their expensive highway cruisers, including stereos with matching his and hers wired for sound helmets and even one or two with trailers and/or sidecars passing him while smiling and waving as they went by. Not a chopper or any "colors" in sight.
When a couple of us who ride ourselves explained this to him first he looked puzzled, then relieved, then hostile and insisted we didn't know what we were talking about and he had been in great danger. We gave up and went for another cup of coffee.

Or any of the fatherless children. Maybe Donna could adopt Achmed! She could teach him to change her shitty diapers.

What's with this Golf Crap! Do you say Obama played more golf that Geo Bush?
Really?
Does that have anything to do with anything?
Can't you find something more important to worry about?
George Bush took every weekend off and flew Airforce One to Texas! How much do you think THAT cost?

There is no danger--I said, No Danger--without explosives. There were NO EXPLOSIVES!
You can set a bomb off with any clock, even a one dollar pocket watch from the dimestore.
You can set a bomb off with a cell phone.
This is a profound example of collective Stupidity!
Irving, Texas should hang its collective head!
