That's what I thought. Right up there with putting bugs in the fridge so they hold still for the macro shot.

I was meant as humor but you of all people know that what's in the viewfinder ain't necessarily the photo you print.

I have always been impressed at the macro shooters that they never get in the photo the little pins holding the bugs down!

Me personally, I've never tried that particular approach. That's what my 80~400 Nikkor is for.

I was in Cades Cove in the GSM Nat'l park last year and on a back trail where I came across some butterflies, wasps and bees walking around on the ground in what only could be called a drunken stupor. There was a liquid oozing up from below ground that smelled sweet. They would stop and drink then stagger away.

I may have found a source better than my Joe-Bailey's!!!.
