Sand Castle Event in San Diego.

along with the Festival of Sail the sand castle event was moved from Imperial Beach a few years ago to the B street pier.I think the event was much better at the beach because they had more entrants;more room;and it was free. There were some really nice displays this year.IT was only $9.00 to get into the event but there were only about 15 displays plus a bunch of vendors selling all kinds of things. Here are some of the entrants I hope you enjoy the pictures.

It's hard to believe that these creations were possible.
Hope it did not rain soon after.

These are outstanding, Barry! Isn't it amazing what some people can do with some sand?

Wonderful photos of the ships and pirates. I also found your other set on page 17. It looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for letting me know where to find them.

I've always been fascinated with sand sculptures and the people with enough talent to do it. All of these are remarkable. Thanks for sharing

thank you for taking the time to look at them,IT was alot of fun and there are always alot of fun characters running around entertaining everyone. The price is great too only $5.00 for seniors and kids and $7.00 for adults and that allows you to go onboard all the ships that are there.
