Upgrading to PSE 13

I am a user of PSE 7, and have been for 6 to 7 years. What are the advantages and disadvantages to moving up to 13?

It's a good upgrade. Things have changed but you will figure it out. I like 13. I don't remember what 7 was like.

HI,
I have PSE 10 & PSE 11. 11 was very much improved over 11. I now use Photoshop CC and Lightroom. The subscription is $10.00 a month.
I still use PSE 11 for certain features. I'm sure 13 is vastly improved over 11. It's well worth the money. 7 is a dinosaur compared to 13. Go for it. I think you'll love it.

And it will be very soon: If I remember correctly, the last Thursday in September is when the new version of PSE is released (or could be October).
In any case, don't run out to the store on the day it is released. Also traditionally (at least for the last 3 or 4 years), between Black Friday and Christmas, a number of stores will sell the new version of PSE for around $50. (Sam's, Costco, and others).

Does PSE7 do HDR (photomerge exposure)? I know 9 does (because it's what I use)and 13 has it too. I am sure there are other improvements to 13 (and soon 14); I think I'll wait until I see it at Costco for $50 (like some in here say sometimes happens).

I like the Revel feature of PSE 13. It lets me upload an album to the internet and send a link to friends.
I believe that it will not be available in PSE 14.
