Nice job on the left side (sky/cloud). Not so much on the right side (tree).

Overall?

Pretty girl.

Zoomed in on download to view hair off of her right cheek.
You can see the sky through the fine hair section ... real nice job.

Do you have a video showing your workflow with remask 5 ?

This looks really good I might down load this program and give it a try. Like was stated the sky side looks real good but the tree side not so much, but I think all that is happening on the tree side is a color cast. Did you use a blue back ground because the color cast looks blue. I have ran into this problem and easiest way I found to solve it was to make a saturation layer and pick blue as your color and take all the saturation out and then invert the layer and using a paint brush remove the color cast.

This is good, watch out Photoshop, Refine Edge could be redundant very soon.

Recently in August there were two Topaz webinars on Remask 5. First was intro, second was advanced. Go to Topazlabs.com and check the resources.

My Topaz work flow is deNoise, Detail, Clarity.... Topaz also has a webinar on advised workflow.

It's not the trees, but the lack of separation on the original image on the "tree" side. Notice how the rim light on the "sky" side helps with the separation from the background and hair.

Struggling with the fly away hair where there is no distinct separation from the background. A plainer background with a well chosen color would make the effect easier to manage and better to view.

Like so:

Been through it twice my friend. Both times malignant, 2 surgeries, lots of fun chemicals trying to kill me, and I'm still around to pester the rest of you.

They say only the good die young. You folks are stuck with me forever.

I'm sending my thoughts and prayers your way.
