I am selling my Sekonic L-508 Zoom Master Light meter. It is complete with all the items as pictured. This includes the meter, instruction book, box, case, strap and cap. As furnished, to my memory. It features incident metering and spot metering with a built-in zoom feature. Works perfectly. Have had it for a good while. Purchased new by me. As with all my equipment, it is in excellent shape. Uses one AA battery. My offering price is $ 275. Shipping, by USPS Priority Mail is $ 12.00 additional. Payment fees are extra, as needed. I do accept checks, for which there is no additional fee. I am replacing this with the newer Sekonic 478DR so, this is for sale. PM me, leave a message here, or contact me at cjc2photo@gmail.com . Thanks for looking.

The picture seems a bit over-exposed - so much so, in fact, that there's not even a border!

Sekonic L-508 Zoom Master
Chris ...I have a L-478DR just bought it with the idea of using it with strobes and pocket wizard triggers and slaves ...since I bought it a few months ago I've decided to work with continuous lights instead , so this is way more meter than I now need .... it is virtually brand new ... I don't have to tell you all it's features as I am sure you have researched all that ...I used to have the 308 or a 408 ....it did have a spot meter built in ... but it it got stolen ... miss having the option to take a reflected reading I assume the 508 is the next version of what I had .... would you be interested in working something out ? can you tell me how old you meter is and is it still in the Sekonic line up .... Thanks Garett

The L-508 is no longer in the line up. The newest version, the L758DR is similar in physical design but has way more features. I would assume that the 508 followed the 308/408 but I also can not confirm as I haven't been the light meter market for some time until recently. You can get a spot meter for the 478DR for $ 110, but it is a 5 degree not a 1 degree as is the L-508 when Zoomed, hence the "zoom master" designation. I also am unable to tell you exactly how old this meter is, except to say that I purchased it new before 2002. It does, however, work perfectly and is well kept as is all my gear. I would not be interested in a trade as I already have a 478DR if that is what you're getting at. That's also why I am selling this one! Thanks for checking.
Great meter have one use it a lot.
ok thanks for the info ... G

No problem. I suggest you add in your location so the "in hiding" designation goes away. Welcome to UHH.
can't figure out how to change 'in hiding'
