Thanks, MtnMan. I agree. I thought a rock would just plain block out the subject but it seems that due to light and exposure strange things can happen. I appreciate your comments. I can hardly wait to get back out and give the quick little rascals another go.

Thanks for the comments, David. I'm sorry for the delay in replying. I know I was challenging the lens with the situation and my settings. I did get some better photos. I am looking forward to getting back out and applying the things I have learned from my new friends on UHH.
