Thank you so much.

I used a tripod for both. Fired with an electronic switch. Locked mirror up.

Photo one: July 31, 9:16 PM. Nikon D7100, 30 sec f16 ISO 800. Sigma 18-35 1.8 lens at 20mm. the f16 brings out the star burst.

Photo two: July 31, 9:25 PM, D7100, 25 secs. at f16 ISO 800. Same lens at 28mm.

These negatives are dark. I opened the shadows up and increased exposure 1 2/3 to 2 full stops.

I really like the reflection of the moon in the water in the second photo. Both are beautiful in B&W.

I'm generally not big on black and white or embellishments like starbursts, but I like your first photo very much. Very well done.

Your second photo, though, isn't nearly as excellent. The biggest problem for me is the bridge which leads the eye out of the scene. If you try again, you should of course, you might try a vertical orientation with a wider lens closer to the waters edge.

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you.

I'll try your idea next year when I'm back there. A wider lens is a definite
try. Vertical is interesting. Makes me think of a pano. But I try to keep street lights out of sight.

I like #1 the best and I like you using a high F stop to get the starburst
