Hey everyone....
great photos...beautiful dogs
Angela K. I totally agree with you. I used to be very very afraid of dogs until I met my ex. She had a beagle 2 years before I met her & to this day she still says that dog became mine. That's when I became a dog lover. She would cuddle up to me when I was physically sick (like an ulcer pain in my stomach). I sure miss that fur baby. And I thought it was cause the dog was female. We got a male dog as a companion for her & he was the same way. I could tell you loads of stories about dogs & me since then but as you said, the bottom line is "dogs give you unconditional love".

I think you are right about females... I do think they are more loving and caring. Buster is a male and he's a mama's boy, but I think that's the nature of his breed, he's a Morkie, maltese/yorkie. Maltese bond with their owner, sad because he will only go to my husband if he has food!! lol...
I was never a dog person, I have 6 cats and love them and had volunteered in a shelter for 8 years taking care of the cats... but when I saw this little fur ball, I fell in love... end of story, and now I would never be without a dog!
It's wonderful that you have so many warm and fond memories of your dog.... you know there are thousands of dogs around the country stuck in shelters just waiting for that right person to take them home....
Have a great day!!
