Sherry, I hope I'm not leaving a comment before you're finished posting. I was about to shut down for the night, and I decided to check closeup before turning in. Your blooms are zinnias, and your shots are just beautiful! These are the good old fashioned kind of zinnias that butters and bees love..not the hybrids like I have that they they won't even touch. I'll learn one day...maybe. :-(

Pretty profiles, Sherry of flowers that I had no clue what they were.... thanks to Donna for supplying the info!
I love them and have never planted them in my yard, the colors are beautiful!! Beautiful set!

Thank you for the ID and your kind comment, Donna. I'll try to remember "zinnia" which apparently can come in any color with any number of petals! I do see a lot of butters flitting around those flowers but when I go out to shoot most of them flit away - the typical photographer woe!
