It will be a busy day today, going to California tomorrow, Long Beach, for a couple of weeks with my little ones, can't wait! Need to get organized, hate packing, never know what to take and ALWAYS take too much!
Sun is not up in Dallas yet, for now it's archives...a few of my friendly Red Tail Hawk who sits on our pine trees once in a while and chases the squirrels!

Going to the Rivièra Maya, Azumel I think is the town, but it is actually White Sands GrandPaladium..

Thanx, Jim

When I go out with my telephoto lens attached to my camera at this time of year I am looking for ducks. I found some Hooded Mergansers Sunday, a bit distant upstream. the first photo shows the pair. next the male Hooded merganser is standing on a submerged branch and lastly the female with her frizzed out looking hair do. This is a beautiful species and I am always thankful of having a telephoto lens whenever I see them.

Welcome to Day 94 :) It's Telephoto Tuesday on our dedicated challenge month. I think we pretty much agree that means bringing something in the far distance a bit closer. For me that means landscapes, but feel free to photograph whatever it means to you. Y'all are excellent photographers .. and I really enjoy the photos you choose to share with us. :) Here are a few examples to get us started. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.
This should be a wonderful look around the countryside.

This was taken with a 50-500MM lens on a Canon 7D @ 500MM. Not bad for handheld! I forgot my tripod at home!

Wow, what a great "catch"!
