I did a search and this $20 App did not pop right up. If this has been covered let me know.

This software turns a USB tethered Canon or Nikon into a iPod or iPad WIFI remote control with live view and most setting available wirelessly. I just downloaded and installed it and this great stuff.

I have the D7000 USB tethered and the iPod in my hand shooting in any way I want to. Wiggle the camera and the instant live view is shown on your iPod.

Has anyone tried this? It is very useful. I can shoot from the iPod in complete manual and adjust ISO, shutter speed, and aperture remotely. Change white balance and turn flash on and off.

What pisses me off is this would be real good with the new iPad. I do not want to buy an iPad yet!

Of course, I'll just throw all this Nikon junk in Lake Michigan. Who would want it...

What and cheat/steal from honest Americans? Not on my life! Nikons are not even good for recycling. Into the pit where they belong. Evil Nikon=evil images! Bad!

No. No more money wasted, even postage. When my D800 arrives, into the lake with the Asian Carp. Those fish will fix the problem.

May I remind you that this would be prohibited under the Clean Water Act. My hero Richard Nixon placed these and many other worthwhile restrictions on businesses-gone-wild 40 years ago, it was not a Democrat President nor enacted by BOB to restrict businesses ! Nor was EPA, and Clean Air Act which were among the many great things that Nixon did for the environment. May I suggest that we as photographers must, however protest that we no longer have spectaculars like the famous 1969 Cuyahoga River fire to photograph nor due to the Clean Air Act the beautiful Sky over Pittsburg... alas! I'll drink to that, protected by Nixon signed Drinking water laws!!

I bought it. It works great. Like I always say, 'Magic'. I shoot tethered a lot and this makes it fun and easy. Once you set it up you will be playing for hours.

It makes shooting in manual a simple experiment to immediately see what works. This speeds up the learning curve exponentially. In a classroom this would be a great teaching tool. Every student could operate a camera from their desk without needing to touch a camera. I am sure someone will complain that each student needs a camera, and they do, but teaching the variables of exposure would be very quick with this tool.

I sure hope it works with the D800. Set this up with a large screen HDMI monitor and we have a shooting environment previously unavailable at any price.

I love it!
