This is a fascinating photo documentary of American History. Well done. Recall photography is not a new art. It has been around a while.

They switch to the new view too fast for my likings. I liked manually selecting the old view while reading the text, and studying the old photo while listening to the audio, before switching to the new view.

On the right hand side of the screen you can change it from now to then.

I found this fascinating. When I was a kid on 1966 my parents gave me a Civil War book by Brady, the famous photographer who took images of that war. The book revisited the exact locations of photographs and in 1965, 100 years after the end of the war, the photos were shot again. I really find before & after photography fascinating . My only critique here is that the new images against the old would look better in B&W. Great stuff here, great history. Thank you for posting this.

You can move the lever (Orange button) back to the left and study the picture as long as you want.
