Coastal Scenes

We took our 4 granddaughters to the Mendocino coast for a couple of days. When I wasn't taking pictures of kids, I managed to get a few of the local scenes. I might add that the weather was phenomenal, some of the best we've ever had there.

All of these are really beautiful Vicki but I have to say the first one is by far my favorite. It is such a sharp and colorful image. Thank you for sharing.

The Oregon Coast is hard to beat.

Thank you neco. I'm glad you liked that one. It was a bit challenging shooting into the sun to get the shot.

Many thanks Linda. The weather was a bit of a mixed bag in terms of sun and fog, but our beach time was graced with clear skies and lots of sun. We even took a swim, or should I say "braved" a swim. The water was clear but less than 60 degrees.

You're right about the Oregon Coast. I was there years ago and would like to go back. I recall it's quite similar to this stretch.

The water changes color with the weather. When the fog was in, it was quite gray. We lucked out with almost full days of sunshine.
