I am new to Ugly Hedgehog but so happy that I found it. It is a great forum for a budding amateur photographer like me.
Although my main hobby for many years has been restoring classic cars (mostly British), I am begining to phase down and take a bigger interest in photography.
I have had many digital cameras over the years. I have just bought a Sony NEX-5 Mirror less camera, and am amazed at the things it will do.
I would like to hear from others who know and use the Sony NEX series camera.
Here is a photo I took today of a cat that visits our house. I have named her "Phantom"

welcome, this is a fun site with an ocasional soap opera antics. people here are very helpfull. there are several Brits now living here in the US, on this site and we even are geting people from the uk. what a wonderfuly colorful cat! going rom the UK to Texas has to be a huge culture shock!!!!
Welcome to UHH Peter! We enjoy our forum, here. And sharing is what makes it great!
Your cat reminds me of all cats: two faced! I'm a dog person...can you tell. Nice pic, though you need to watch your shutter speed with cats. They are like shooting an action scene all the time!
I hope you have some photos of some of your car projects we can see someday. I love looking at old Morris Minis and Morgans, MG-TC's and TD's, etc. etc.
Thanks for joining!
Welcome!!!!! What a face on that cat!

I just sold my 1950 MG-TD, back to the guy I bought it from 23 years ago! Last year I sold my Bentley S2 to a friend who runs a wedding car hire business. The year before that I sold my Jaguar S type.......all restored by myself. Yes I am phasing down...too old to do this stuff. My current and last restoration is a 1960 Autobianchi Bianchina Trasformable. I am told there are only 18 left in the US......the rest just rusted away!
Some photos for your interest. Peter
Bianchina. Not mine but what it will look like
