Growing up, we called these guys locusts. Actually, according to Wikipedia, they are "unrelated to true locusts, which are varying species of swarming grasshoppers". Cicadas are related to leafhoppers and spittle bugs. Try the download for an "up close and personal view". If he'd moved, I'd have had a heart attack.....Lol!
