That comment is small minded and uncalled for, Tom.

The pyramid was completed in 1869 and was built as a memorial to the more than 18,000 confederate soldiers who died in batte.

The memorial was commissioned by the Hollywood Memorial Association that was formed May 3, 1866 by the Daughters of the Confederacy for $26,000.00 an amount that would equal $423,760.00 in 2008. The pyramid was built in an area of the cemetery where graves contains the remains of enlisted men of the Confederate Army who died at Gettysburg. 18,000 men including at least 2,000 unknown soldiers were removed from the Gettysburg's battlefield and buried at Hollywood cemetery. This is commemorated by the construction of the pyramid to honor the sacrifices of these Confederate soldiers. The Hollywood Cemetery Registry of Confederate Dead, printed in 1869, contains about 10,500 names of the 18,000 soldiers that rest here.

Soldiers dying and their memorials are always moving, IMHO.

With the current news items that are even calling for the renaming of all parks named for Confederate soldiers, etc, I would call his comment "realistic" even though the situation is so sad to see!!

The "activists" are trying to hide history by using the "Racist" excuse!!

Probably Fox News, just to keep your hate tank filled.

Perhaps you could inform me by sending a link.

The soldiers who were slain deserve to be remembered in historical context. I can't imagine anyone disrespecting their ultimate sacrifices.

Finally,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,someone else sees the situation for what it really is. I am indeed a Realist and look at things objectively and not SUBJECTIVELY. The Politicians are only a by product of this situation. I think that anyone with any sense at all can see where this originates.

Again, I would ask for a link describing this assertion about the memorials. I can't help but think it's Fox News, or another similar source.

You're a better thinker than this response, Tom.

And this is following along in the same 'style' as the "activist" judges who are RE-WRITING laws and the Constitution by interpreting by a DIFFERENT SET OF DEFINITIONS!!! ALL laws and the constitution should be interpreted ACCORDING TO THE TIME IN WHICH THEY WERE WRITTEN and stop trying to read something into them that was NOT INTENDED!!

Please evolve into the present, kind sir. You will be a happier person in the long run. Judges under our Constitution are required to interpret the law as written, which they do to the best of their ability. There are two basic parts to any legal controversy: The facts of the case, abdd the existing law. The case facts are applied to existing law in each individual case for a correct resolution of the matter.

They're usually spot on, but there are two sides to every argument. Only one can prevail.

Your rant does not seem to be well reasoned and doesn't speak well of your thinking ability. Loudness is not the same as logical, critical thinking. I would suggest you take a course at your local community college and learn about American Law.
