Here was this huge, ugly microwave tower sticking out like a sore thumb. I looked at it through the trees and noticed a natural framing of sorts. I thought perhaps I could make it a little interesting. I think I missed the mark.

I tried.
I tried....

Remember the old saying Tom -- you can't make a silk purse out if a sow's ear. But, what the heck you tried. So good for you.

These types of shots; for me in the end help me to be a better photographer. Maybe a different angle or another side could make it more appearing?

BTW Pierre that's a great saying, made me chuckle.

I'll have to remember the purse analogy. Too funny!

I don't think there was any way you could have made this an enticing shot.

Whenever I run out of ideas and find myself shooting just about anything and everything with the hope something interesting may come out of it, then I know it's time to take a little break from photography. You can't force inspiration.

A good try. It frustrates me, too, when unnatural elements get in the way of a good photo.

Trust me, there is nothing appealing about that tower. Lol.

I know what you mean. But I was serious about trying to make something out of this. Oh, well.

Photoshop it out in real life. Now that would be something!
