These two are outstanding photos sab2101!!
However, all Three (2nd post from you included) photos are really OOB in my opinion, humble as it may be!
Nice job.
Dave
I love the technique of OOB. You did a great job. The second one really jumps out to me!
Thank you all, I appreciate the comments.........Mike

Very nicely done! I've done a couple of these and really appreciate the work it took to select the sections with all the detail that is OOB. I have two questions on the first picture. (a) what is that thing sticking up in upper right corner? To me it doesn't add anything and is a distraction. why not clone it out? (b) Why did you choose to have the stern of the tug out of the fame rather than the bow as if it were going forward?
The second shot is perfect!

Thank you JCam, the thing in the upper right corner is just some kind of a pole sticking up from the ground. If you look at the picture carefully you will see that it is the bow of the boat sticking out. Look at the water the boat is moving and you will see what I mean, I was fooled by that at first also. Thanks again............Mike

Could be Mike, and I'm not going to argue with you, I wasn't there, but all the heavy duty hardware--winches, towing lines, hawse pipes, and the roller for the towing line, etc.--are at the right "end" of the boat, and they would normally be at the stern. I did notice the prop wash and assumed it had props at both ends, like a harbor ferry, and was backing down when the picture was taken. In the narrow waters of the canal, props at both end would make for easier maneuvering and eliminate the need the room to turn around in the narrow waters of the canal.
I assume you were on a Panama Canal cruise; we took one several years ago, and it was one of the best cruises we've taken. Hope you enjoyed it!
Jim
I know the boat was heading in that direction. You are probably correct props being on both sides, and yes we were on that cruise and enjoyed it very much, thanks again..........Mike
