Moon Photo

I took this with my Canon 50D, 300mm f/2.8L lens and a 2X extender. I then took the photo into NIK HDR Efex Pro and made a single image HDR photo from it. Any comments are appreciated.

I really like the moon photo but I'm curious, what do you feel the HDR treatment did for the picture?

I believe it sharpened it a bit and increased the contrast along the edges and showed up more detail than without the HDR

It does look sharp. Does it keep that crispness when you crop it tighter? I ask because I never get tired of looking at very detailed moon shots.

Here is the moon shot before HDR. I believe it is the one since I shot about 30 moon shots that night. I also stored the original for your viewing pleasure.

Here's my try with a Canon Powershot S2 IS at 48x zoom....
guess it only brought out all the UFO bases up there..... :mrgreen:

Hi All, Here is a Moon shot from last night. I used a Meade 8 in. scope,with aNikon D-40 straight to the scope. ISO 200 1/250 speed. Bear.
