The pic is my Boss - he is a wonderful person. He knows I take a lot of pictures and he was hoping I could clone out the microphone - and change the background to something more neutral and consistent.

However much I would love to do this for him- I can not. I do not have the software or skills to accomplish this. If there is someone out there that has the time and resources to do this I would really appreciate your help. When I say he is a charitable person it is an understatement - he really is one of the most generous people I know and I would really like to help him. Anyone willing?

There is good separation from the background. This could be done, but is there a larger version?

Why not just pose him for the pic he wants?

This is the best I can do with such a small image.

I do not have a larger version. His Mother saw the pic and asked him if he could print one for her - He doesn't want to print it as is - he wants to eliminate the microphone and he was hoping to adjust the background and make it less busy - I do not believe he nor his Mother will be printing it very large. I really appreciate you taking the time to look and comment.

Thank you.

What program did you use to edit that picture. Looks like you did a great job!

Photoshop CS 6. I chose the color of the background based on what was showing in his glasses to keep things simple.

Really not much there to work with. Quick edit, can you post the original.

I removed the Mic and the shadow of the Mic on his lapel, changed the background, adjusted the color balance slightly and deleted the blue light on the podium at lower right.

So many ways to edit!!

Good examples already shown. I did not have time to work on the close details, but here is another possible edit. Would need more work to finish. This was done with PaintShop Pro X4
